The Builder’s Guide to Minecraft, Future’s second Minecraft-focused publication, is now on sale. With a newsstand price of $8.95, The Builder’s Guide to Minecraft features 84 pages of news, tutorials and in-depth features on the phenomenally popular building game. Presented by PC Gamer, the bimonthly magazine is available in all good newsagents as well as Big W and Target, among others.
It follows the success of Future’s Ultimate Guide to Minecraft, which rocked newsstands when it released in December 2014.
“We’ve lovingly put together this first issue of the Builder’s Guide as huge fans of the game,” editor Paul Taylor said. “Whether you’re starting out or you’ve been building since Notch threw the first block out into the ether, there’s loads of hints, tips and guides to improve your game.”
Highlights of the debut issue include tutorials on advanced mining and building techniques, a guide to the game’s notoriously tricky Ender Dragon boss fight, as well deep dives on how Microsoft’s forthcoming Hololens technology will influence the game; a collection of outstanding biomes and more. The magazine also features collectible posters and will appeal to fans playing across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Android and iOS.
